Full Disclosure

Sandwiched individuals are much like the meat in the middle of a good pastrami sandwich, spicy, tender, with a little bit of fat, and destined to fall apart unless handled with care.

Now for my full disclosure:  Opinions expressed are entirely my own and not that of any future employers.

I am not a social worker or a geriatric care manager or a gerontologist. I’m just a daughter/niece and mother who after being plunged into the world of elder care has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in terms of how our loved ones are treated once they become ill.  I also bring the unique perspective of a 50+ woman solo-parenting (and by choice too) a still very young child.
